At the historic Sumter location, our facilities are warm, intimate and family friendly. The Chapel is relaxed and informal with a seating capacity of one hundred fifty. If a larger facility is required, we support existing churches through a network where cooperation and collaboration exists. Even if your loved one is not affiliated with a church, these select churches will open their doors and allow funeral services to be conducted at their location. The network matches family needs with church capacity. Thus, your family has access to a variety of church settings and a unique opportunity for collaboration between family, funeral home and church community.

In Sumter, we have the largest selection of caskets offered on site with a complete range of prices, styles and materials. There is also a complete line of vaults, burial garments, urns, cremation jewelry, and other items allowing customization and personalization of funeral merchandise and services. There are family visitation rooms that are convertible for privacy. The facility is handicapped accessible.

All of our facilities are tastefully designed to provide a lasting and beautiful tribute to your loved one. Our locations are easily accessible to businesses, residential areas, churches, cemeteries and public transportation.

Columbia

At Palmer Memorial Chapel, Columbia, SC, we have facilities that are more than adequate to meet the needs of every family we serve.

Our Grace Brooks Palmer Chapel seats 240 people and has a separate family area. Adjacent to the family section, there is a comfortably furnished room that offers a convenient and private place for relatives to gather for their loved one’s service.

Families may use our minister’s counseling room to meet and be counseled by members of the clergy, both before and after funeral services.

Our Selection Room

When arranging or pre-arranging a funeral, you can choose from a wide selection of caskets in varying prices, styles and materials. There is also a complete line of vaults, urns, burial and other funeral merchandise. We will assist you in making selections appropriate to your desires and budget.
