Stacy Windell Rhodes

Stacy Windell Rhodes departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina. Born in Sumter County on December 3rd 1988, he was a son of Tressa Rhodes and Stacy W. Pringle. Stacy, affectionately known as “Boi” was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and attended Sumter High School. He worked various jobs, searching for what was suitable for him. He enjoyed working and was known for his good work ethic. In recent years, he was employed by Mc Entire Produce Company of Columbia, SC. Stacy loved his job and as he came to know his co-workers, it was said: they loved and enjoyed working with him. Stacy was a generous soul. If you asked him, he would take the shirt off his back and give it to you. In his spare time, he enjoyed joking with his family and friends. As a young single father in recent years, he made a conscious decision to refrain from his old lifestyle and accepted the challenge and became a responsible father that cared and loved his children. Stacy also loved sports and was passionate about basketball; he especially liked James Hardin of the Houston Rockets. The family will miss the laughter and the good times they shared together, but the memories will live forever in their hearts. In addition to his maternal grandparents, Pearl Rhodes Richardson and Leroy James, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ke Ke’ Isaac and four uncles: Anthony Rhodes, Leroy Rhodes, Tony Rhodes and Ricardo Richardson, Jr and god-brother DeAndre Covers. Those left to cherish his precious memories are, his beloved mother, Treassa Rhodes and her fiance’ Tony Baker and his father, Stacy Pringle; step-father, Lewis Jenkins, sons: DeAndre Rhodes, Kaceon, Rhodes, Kayon Rhodes and Ja’Kevin Hunter; three sisters: LaShanda (Terrance) Rhodes, Shericka Burgess and Arman K. Pringle; two brothers: Anthony Pringle and James Archie, Jr. ; paternal grandparents, Nancy (Marion) Colclough and Ricardo Richardson; five aunts: Latoya Rhodes, Janice Rhodes, Rhonda Rhodes, Doretha Alston and Sheryl Ray; two uncles: Tyrone Rhodes and John Pringle; grand aunts, Sarah Tindal and Gloria Jean Wells all of Sumter, SC ; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; Fiance’ Adrienna McFadden; six god-brothers , Joseph Rhodes, Gregory Rhodes, Jordan Rhodes, Brandon Butler, Rashawn Brewer and Brandon Craft and many dear friends.
