Mr. Robert Reginald Wiley

A Time to Live On July 20, 1960, Robert Reginald (Reggie) Wiley was born in Sumter, South Carolina to Marie Harrison Wiley and the late Robert Joe Wiley. Reggie was married the late Debbie Sigler Wiley and to this union they were blessed with three children; Sakea, Regina and Desmond. A Time to Learn Reggie attended the public schools of Sumter County. He was a 1979 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Dalzell, South Carolina. During his high school years, he drove public-school bus for Sumter School District II. After high school, Reggie joined the United States Marine Corps and enlisted as an Engineer Equipment Mechanic. A Time to Serve and Work Reggie was converted and joined High Hills African Methodist Episcopal Church at an early age. He was very dependable in doing work around the church. For many years, Reggie was employed with Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina as a Maintenance and Landscape Operator. A Time of Sharing Memories Reggie shall always be a part of our lives. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Memories shall be cherished by his three children, Sakea Wiley-Jacques of Sumter, SC, Regina Wiley of Rembert, SC and 1st Sergeant Desmond (Dorian) Wiley of Camp Humphreys, Korea; a loving and devoted mother, Marie Harrison Wiley; one brother, Lonnie K. Wiley, one sister Kimberly Wiley both of Sumter, SC and an adopted sister, Alice Fullwood of Columbia, SC; ten grandchildren, Saryiah Smith, Ma’Kaila Wiley, Kaleacia Washington, Marcelous Christian, Desmond Wiley Jr., Jayanna Jacques, Keon Lewis, Samya Jacques, Ja’Vaughn Jacques, Maverick Wiley; one great-grandchild, Bloom Jackson two cousins who were reared as a sister and a brother, Barbara J. Wiley of Sumter, SC, and Oliver Marcell (Rachel) Wiley of Germantown, MD; five aunts, Shirley Harrison of Manhattan, NY, Mary Alston of Brooklyn, NY, Deloris Choice of Bronx, NY, Stephanie (Dwight) Williams of Tacoma, WA and Wendy Croom of New York, NY; two uncles, Johnny (Debbie) Alston of Sumter, SC and Richard (Carla) Alston of Wedgefield, SC; five sisters in-law, Carolyn (Pete) Hunt, Brenda (Larry) Britton, Sandra (Kevin) Petty, Jacqueline Wiley, all of Sumter, SC and Terri Wharton of Columbia, SC; three brothers in-law, Willie Sigler of Sumter, SC, Ricky Sigler of GA and Donald Sigler of MD. Memories will forever be cherished by special friends, Charles Prioleau Sr, Rodney Prioleau, Johnny Durant and Willie Earl Davis along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Reggie was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Sigler Wiley; his father Robert Joe Wiley; his sister Karen Yvonne Wiley; his brother Andre Del’Aun Wiley; his maternal grandparents William Penn Harrison and Epsie H. Washington, his paternal grandparents, Matthew and Elizabeth Singleton Wiley; his father-in-law and mother in-law, Fred & Bertha Mae Sigler
