Mr. Adam "Clink" Richbow was born in Horatio, South Carolina on June 22, 1925 to the late Mr. Walter Richbow and Alice Colcolough Richbow. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital of Sumter, SC.. Adam received his education from Westbury School of Horatio, S.C. After school, he learned how to fix cars. He worked hard until he was able to open his very own business "Adam Richbow Garage". He operated his business for many, many years until his health started to decline. On August 4, 1945, Adam married the love of his life Marie Weston. They have shared 72 wonderful years together.During this union, they were blessed with Adam Richbow Jr. and Isiah (Lillie Mae) Richbow of Horatio, S.C. and Joe R. (Illene) Richbow of Washington, D.C. In addition to his children, Adam stepped up and helped raised in his home, Mary Sue (Wyman) Wyatt, Thomas (Bonnie) Richbow, Janie Richbow, Carrie White, Paulette Diamond, Ronald Green, Raymond Azea Richbow and Adam Richbow III. Adam was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Marie Richbow; two sons Walter Eugene Richbow and Raymond Clyde Richbow; three daughter n laws Karen W Richbow, Mary H Richbow and Ruth B. Richbow, two grandsons, Donald T. Richbow and Joseph R. Richbow Jr., and one great grandson Anthony Anderson. He was also preceded by his brothers, Walter Richbow Jr. and Thomas L. Richbow and his sisters Elizabeth Brooks, Lottie Richbow and Carrie Daughty. Adam leaves to cherish his memories, 21 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren 16 great-great grandchildren; a sister n law Maggie Harris and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
