David Boneparte Sr.
April 6, 1960 - September 19, 2017
David Boneparte, Sr. was born April 6, 1960, to the late James Boneparte and Dorothy Boneparte; he was the sixth of nine children. On Thursday, September 19, 2017, he entered into eternal rest. David found Christ at an early age and accepted Him as his personal Lord and Savior at St. John AME Church, Cameron, South Carolina. David graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, Orangeburg, South Carolina. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and was promoted to Sergeant. David loved serving his country as he completed two tours overseas as well as Operation Desert Storm where he was injured. After David received an honorable discharge from the military, he moved to Washington State. David was married to Julie Parker-Boneparte; to this union two beautiful children, Cherrell and David, Jr, were born. When David’s health began to fail he returned to Columbia, South Carolina, to be near his children and siblings to care for him. He was a devoted father who gave his last to his children, and he was very proud and loved all of his family. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Bonaparte, and his sister, Daisy Mae Bonaparte. He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Julie Parker Boneparte; his children: Cherrell Boneparte and David Boneparte, Jr.; three sisters; Dorothy Boneparte, Leatha Boneparte-Torres and Jearline (Louis) Ford; three brothers: James Bonaparte, Jr., Thomas (Yvonne) Boneparte and Freddie (Clauda) Bonaparte; many loving nieces and nephews; as well, as a host of other relatives and dear friends.
