Ellison “Epp” Bradley, 67, died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. Born in Oswego, SC on August 6, 1952, he was a son, and the fourth of seven children born to late the Alec and Viola Martin Bradley. Ellison attended the public schools of Sumter County. Ellison was retired from Nilson Van & Storage Company, as a Lead packer in Sumter. He was a member of the Clark United Methodist Church in Oswego. Ellison was a die-hard Pittsburg Steeler, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers fan. He was the life of the party at all of the family gatherings. His favorite saying was “I am the Legend.” In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie M. Darby; two brothers, James H. L. Bradley; and Willie J. “Butch” Bradley; two nephews, Julius T. Bradley and Demond L. Wells; nine uncles, seven aunts and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He leaves to cherish precious memories, three brothers, Ret. 1st Sergeant, Alec (Dr. Monica) Bradley, Jr.; Columbia, SC; Julius(Anita) Bradley and Henry (Lillian) Bradley all of Sumter, SC; one sister, Frances (James) Bradley, Sumter, SC, caregivers: niece and nephew Pastor Stephanie (Elder Ray) Mathis, Jr., both of Sumter, SC; a friend, Catherine Flowers of Sumter, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
