Lennell Watson was born in Mayesville, to the late Reese Johnson and Willie Mae Benjamin Washington of Mayesville, South Carolina. He departed this life on January 18, 2022, at the Agape Care Hospital in Lexington, South Carolina. Lennell attended the public schools of Sumter County and was reared by his grandmother, Elsie Benjamin Harvin. He was a farm worker most of his adult life and enjoyed spending leisure time with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish fond memories of his life, a son, Lundell Washington; two brothers, Jimmie Lee White of Mayesville, SC and Sammie Lee Brown of Sierra Vista, Arizona; one uncle, Eddie Lee Harvin of Mayesville, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
