Mr. Leroy Shephard Jr.

April 24, 1962 - January 29, 2022

Mr. Leroy “Bossy” Shephard Jr. was born on April 24, 1962, in Sumter, South Carolina, to the proud parents of the late Mr. Leroy Shephard and Mrs. Dorothy Buie-Shephard. Mr. Leroy departed this earthly life at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell, New Jersey on January 29, 2022. "Bossy", as he was affectionately known, was our family IDOL. "Bossy" was reared in Sumter, South Carolina until his early teen years, when he relocated to Trenton, New Jersey. He graduated the Class of 1981, from Trenton High School. He worked for Local 77 Construction Company for 35 years. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at Union Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey under the leadership of Reverend Simeon Spencer. "Bossy" loved to spend time with his family and friends. Some of his favorite things to do was to drive his family around;, especially the trips to and from South Carolina to New Jersey; grill food for all the family activities, and giving great spiritual advice, regardless of the situation. He leaves to cherish his many memories: his sisters: Priscilla (Clarence) Shephard-Brock, Diane (Antonio) Shephard-Knight, Wanda (Richard) Shephard-Clinton, Michelle (Errol) Johnson, Angela Shephard, all of New Jersey; Thomasina (James) Sweat and Delores Johnson Brown of South Carolina; and a host of nieces; nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The service will be Live Streamed at starting at the hour of the service. .
