Mr. Earl Bradley Sr.

Earl Bradley, Sr., 69, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at his home in Sumter, South Carolina. Born on July 5, 1957, in Turbeville, South Carolina, Earl was the youngest of nine children born to the late Willard Bradley and Dorothy Graham Bradley. Earl attended East Clarendon High School in Turbeville, South Carolina. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where his faith remained an important part of his life. Earl was a man known for his warm smile, kind heart, and peaceful spirit. He loved praising God everywhere he went, sharing his faith through both his words and the way he lived. He had a special gift for making others feel welcome. He loved spending time with his family, cooking meals, fishing, dancing, and watching sports. Whether sharing laughter with loved ones or offering a helping hand, Earl found joy in bringing people together. A hardworking and dedicated provider, Earl began his career as a truck driver with Glasscock Company, where he faithfully worked for 15 years. He later followed his passion for serving others and sharing the gospel by joining the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, where he worked for 12 years until his retirement. Above all else, Earl cherished his family. He was a devoted husband who deeply loved his wife, DeLinda Bradley; a loving father, caring grandfather, loyal brother, devoted uncle, peacemaker, and faithful friend. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved, creating lasting memories and sharing the love, laughter, and strength that defined his life. His family was the center of his heart, and the love he gave them will continue to live on for generations. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Bradley and Dorothy Graham Bradley and brother, Abraham Bradley. He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his beloved wife, DeLinda C. Bradley; Children: Natasha McKnight, Baltimore MD., Earl Fulwood (Crystal) Sumter, SC, Earl Bradley Jr. (Marsha) Sumter, SC, Lequan Gray, Sumter SC, Shaquana Gray, Sumter SC; Step-Children: Anitra Beckett (Kenny) Sumter SC, Latoya Cooks (Eric) Sumter SC, Howard Beckett, Sumter SC, he is also survived by his sisters Ethel Kelly (Willie) Florida, LuBertha Oliver (Leonard) Michigan, CarrieNell McKnight Wallace, Sumter, SC, Mary Bradley, Georgia, Doris Gossett Michigan; his brother, Willie Bradley; his devoted nieces whom he loved as his daughters, including: Deborah Bradley, Savannah, GA, Carl McKnight Coleman (Derrick) North Carolina, Sharon Lazensky (Anthony), Savannah, GA, Shirley McKnight, Sumter, SC, Latisha Bradley, Augusta, GA, along with a host of 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends who will forever cherish his love, laughter, and unforgettable presence. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in knowing that Earl’s legacy of love, kindness, peace, strength, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
