Mr. Gerald Dozier

Gerald Dozier, age 55, beloved husband of Michelle Bradley Dozier, departed this earthly life and transitioned on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Rock Hill, South Carolina Mr. Dozier was born on July 30, 1966, in Manning, South Carolina. He was a son to Joann Dozier Sharpe and the late General Utell Davis, Jr. Gerald was a 1985 graduate of Manning High School and enlisted in the United States Army where he served for eight years and landed in the Gulf War prior to working many years in retail management and as a long distance truck driver. Gerald was a member of Manning Progressive Church of Jesus, in Manning, SC before joining Freedom Temple Ministries in Rock Hill, SC, where he served on the Men's Ministry, Men's Choir, and volunteered his services whenever & wherever he was needed without hesitation however, he considered his most important role, duty, and accomplishment as being the best father to his forever princess, Matisse, whom he loved so dearly. Gerald loved spending time with and traveling with his family and friends, watching and attending sporting events, and faithfully attending church with his loving wife and daughter. Survivors in addition to his devoted wife, Michelle Bradley Dozier, a much cherished daughter, Matisse Syrlae Dozier; both of Rock Hill, SC; mother, Joann Dozier Sharp, Manning SC; four loving sisters: Helena Dozier, Deborah Sharpe, and Sherm Dozier Young all of Manning, SC and Shanna Davis of Durham, NC; five loving brothers: Herbert Dozier Sharpe, Jr., Joseph Dozier, Tim (Mary) McDonald of Manning, SC, Tyrell (Kenya) Davis of Fayetteville, NC, & Antonio Dozier of Atlanta, GA; very special aunts: Esther Mae Dozier, Annie Dell Dozier of Manning, SC and Helen Campbell of San Angelo, Texas and Dora Mack, Las Vegas Nevada; his beloved mother-in-law, Ramona Bradley of Sumter, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and many, many friendly, acquaintances. Gerald also had six special brothers at heart, Lionel Parker, Jermaine "Bo" White, Maurice Durant, Dwayne Conyers, Kelvin Nelson, & the late Jesse Young.
